Return to Dunbar (Now The Farnes)

Due to Alistair and Maureen having to alter their plans, Ian Bennett and Tony Fitzpatrick have agreed to organise a replacement trip to the Farnes, as the last one was so successful. Please get in touch with Ian or Tony to get your name down on the list. Places will be limited so get your booking in now! Camping will be at Farne Diving Services in Beadnell.

Boat Handling Course

The Branch is holding a boat handling Course over the weekend of the 27/28th September - Based at the clubhouse, where the lecture elements will take place. Practical elements will follow in the boathouse and on the River Mersey over the two days. The course is run "at cost" and includes Course Notes, Boat Levy, Fuel and Oil and a small amount for tea and biscuits. This course is not a qualification but a basic introduction to boat handling and candidates will be encouraged to make use of the skills taught on the course when they venture out on Branch Boat dives. Once experience and skill has been gained, candidates may then take the Diver Coxwain Examination.
