Re: Bank Holiday in Anglesey

Congratulations to the majority of trainees and Ocean divers who got in for their first proper sea dives over the Mayday Bank Holiday weekend. The weekend was organised by Ian & Tony as part of their progress towards Advanced Diver and despite the overall lack of experience within the group they did a grand job. Saturday we dived on the Missouri, which has benefited from the winter storms which have removed more of the sand from the wreck leaving large areas to explore. Second dive was around Rhoscolyn Beacons, viz on both dives was a respectable 4-5m. Unfortunately it was a little windy Sunday given the lack of experience and the lack of shelter so we had to make do with a shore dive off Bull Bay, at least the trainees can get the low viz dive signed off by the Training Officer now !! Well done to all concerned and heres to many more weekends over the summer. Steve Mc
